Photoexcursion at the office of "Audiomania": part two
In the first part of the photo excursion at the Moscow office of Audiomania, we talked about a big showroom and two cinemas. Today we will show office premises, a trading hall and a warehouse.
The address of the store is Drumny Lane, 4. It is five minutes walk from the Elektrozavodskaya metro station. Near the entrance to the territory of the business center hangs a signboard "Audiomania" with an arrow that points to the gateway. To get to us, you need to find the entrance number 11. To do this, go through the checkpoint directly, and then turn left. The 11th entrance will have one more our signboard.
A trading hall, office space (for example, an engineering room) and a warehouse are next to a large showroom (pictured below), of which we told in the first part of the photo tour .
As last time, we did not specially prepare rooms for photography. We show creative disorder as it is - in the process of our experts' work.
Here, engineers build acoustic systems, design and test equipment. Therefore, in this room (as well as in the big showroom), the walls are laid with a special damping material and a sound-absorbing coating. Here all conditions for working with acoustics are created.
By the way, in the engineering room we sometimes write issues of the podcast "Sound" . For example, in one of the programs we talked with the expert in the field of home theater design Kerim Tatevyan and talked about the construction of new cinemas and gifts for music lovers.
In the store on the "On the Drum" work Our consultants and specialists in Hi-Fi and High End equipment. By the way, half of our colleagues have been working in Audiomania for more than three years.

There was a situation when the call came to the CEO through the chain, and he personally completed the sale.
Sellers do not have any scripts, and the talk time with the client is unlimited. Because the conversation for several hours - this is a normal situation, the main thing - to solve the client's question. This approach to work helps us to develop in the market.

On the pedestal in the middle of the hall are several acoustic systems. In the center is the brand column Old School , executed in the spirit of the 80's. There are also stands with vinyl records. In the glass showcases are collectible vinyl editions.
There are box set of the "Kino" group from eight plates, composition of Jimi Hendrix , as well as albums of Bob Marley in a metal case of manual work.
Behind the stands with vinyl records, we have another small office section. In it - a couple of jobs for employees.
Opposite this miniopenspace is a shelving for those who prefer to collect acoustics with their own hands. It exhibits all sorts of cables and Hi-Fi components.
Besides this, for DIY we have speakers and electronic components (capacitors, resistors, transformers and lamps), all sorts of connectors, screws, other fasteners and components for speakers.
Opposite the compact office part is the entrance to the small showroom.
In a small room, we exhibit equipment for a specific client, and sales consultants answer questions that appear during the audition. Now we are preparing the modernization of this showroom: a design project has already been approved, materials are being purchased and construction works are being planned. We will certainly share the results in a blog on Habré.
In our warehouses, there is a large part of the goods presented in the electronic catalog. Because very often customers can get their purchase right on the day of the order. In the photo - not exactly a warehouse. There are columns that do not fit in the small showroom. They are taken out there if necessary.
To improve the efficiency of the warehouse staff, we developed several methods. For example, now in the warehouse of "Audioomania" you can find three types of "containers" for storing goods: boxes for small items (capacitors, resistors, radio lamps), trays for larger elements (speakers, horns, etc.) and shelves on racks equipment).
Each shelf and each box has its own barcode, through which employees can quickly find the right product. We do not stick labels on small radio elements, because they always lie in the right cell. None of the ready-made warehouse management solutions known to us are able to work with goods without an individual label. The barcodes are read with the help of a smartphone and Bluetooth-scanner - for this we wrote our own software.
The order is assembled as follows. First, the employee scans the barcode from the monitor screen and receives a new task on the smartphone. The system reflects the number of the place and the name of the item to be taken. The worker goes there, alternately scanning the bar codes of the shelf (cell) and the goods. So he is sure that he packs in the box the goods needed by the buyer.
In this case, the system automatically manages the "assembly flow". Their order is changing dynamically. For example, retail customers are always in the forefront, and companies can be sent to the regions by the specific time (when a courier or employee of a transport company usually arrives).
