Benevolent atmosphere of last year's Battle of start-ups
Within the framework of the conference "Internet of Things" the Battle of start-ups will take place. We invite all those who have innovative ideas and are looking for investors. Participation is free of charge for preliminary registration . The deadline for applications is September 21 at 18:00 (Moscow time).
The battle of start-ups will be held on September 25 at the Sokolniki Culture Center from 14:00 to 17:00.
The format of the Battle of startups
Here, newcomers will be able to show their project to real listeners, get feedback from investors, finalize the idea and find future partners. Each participant will have three minutes to present his project. Although the conference as a whole is devoted to the Internet of things, in the Battle of start-ups projects from different IT spheres can participate.
One participant can present the project. Another guest will receive a free ticket, which will support the speaker in the hall.
The jury will assess the four components of the project on a five-point scale:
the product itself (uniqueness, competitiveness, etc.);
market (whether the product is ready to enter the market, whether it can bring something new);
team (the presence of a team for the implementation of the project);
investment attractiveness of the project.
The winner will be determined by the sum of the points.
The startup winner will receive a free stand at the IoT Conference 201? and the winner of the second place is the smart coffee maker Redmond.
Who is the jury?
Representatives of large venture funds will judge participants and choose winners. Among them:
Oleg Dronov , director of the investment fund AD.ru. The Fund provides opportunities for the withdrawal of projects to international markets, has a strong expertise in developing countries and is ready to invest in projects in these regions.
Priority areas: advertising technologies, B2C-businesses, education, e-commerce and mobile applications. The volume of the fund's investments in one project is from $ 10?000 to $ 1 million.
Sergey Vasiliev Starta Ventures managing partner. This is a venture fund with an accelerating program that invests in projects in the sowing and first rounds. The foundation has two offices, one of which works in Moscow and the other in New York.
Priority areas: analytics, e-commerce, hardware and software, medtech, SaaS and security systems. The volume of the fund's investments in one project is from $ 10?000 to $ 50?000.
Alexander Saltykov , investment analyst Phystech Ventures. The Fund invests mainly in the seed stage, focusing on technological projects.
Priority areas: additive technologies, sensorics, new energy sources, energy efficiency, Big Data, information technologies in the field of security, decentralized financial systems.
Winners of last year's Battle of start-ups
Last year, the winner of the Battle of Startups was the Belka project, which offered solutions for a smart home system. The second place was taken by MoveReHub - VR-project for rehabilitation of patients after a stroke. The third place is the Allyst project, a platform for building IoT-networks and control centers.
