In May this year, the company "IT Grad" began the construction of IT-park in Sevastopol. Technopark will combine technological start-ups, and on its territory the educational center for students, venture fund and research laboratories will open.

The idea of ​​the project

 
The Technopark was named "IT-Crimea". His idea is to combine start-ups, research projects and large IT companies in one place to create conditions for the exchange of experience and best practices.
 
 
Renters will be provided with office spaces, a venue for events, residential apartments and laboratories. According to the development plan, all infrastructure will appear in the park by 2020.
 
 

What has already been done is

 
IT-park create on the territory of the former design bureau of radio communications, where there are four buildings. In July this year were bought the first, the largest, and the second building. Negotiations on the two remaining buildings are still underway.
 
 
By words general director of IT Grad and founder of IT Krim Dmitry Gachko, the project of the main building is completed and the reconstruction of the building: the entrance group and the first two floors has begun - a fan zone, coworking and feeding zones.
 
 
The designers of the project have completed the concept of the adjacent territory and will soon begin to think over the plan for its arrangement. Including already laid out layouts for the same type of subsequent floors. Also there is a design of communications (electricity, water supply, heating and ventilation), because the old components are in an unusable state.
 
 
On the basis of "IT-Crimea" already operates a training center, which trains specialists in the interests of residents of the technopark. In June, the technopark signed an agreement on cooperation with the Sevastopol State University (SevGU). Joint educational programs have already been created and are being finalized, within the framework of which experts from the number of residents will teach students of the university.

Senior students and graduates of the university will be able to undergo internships in the technopark, and after their graduation - get a job with the residents of "IT Crimea". As Dmitry Gachko says, seven people have already been trained at the IT-park, which work for one of the residents.
 
 

Plans for the future

 
Construction of is conducted in several stages. The first stage will end in the fall of 2018. The main building will be put into operation in which the offices, coworking and data center of the technopark will be located. Total housing calculated for 900 people.
 
The second stage will end in mid-2019. In Building B a conference hall for 300 people will be built. In addition to the venue for events, the same building will accommodate a food zone, entertainment space and its own brewery. Also at the second stage, the territory adjacent to the buildings will be turned into a park.
 
 
The third stage will be completed in the third quarter of 201? when the building of a business incubator opens in "IT Crimea". It will accommodate additional office space. The last stage of the construction of the technopark will end in 2020. The fourth building will start working, where they will place another conference hall, apartments for guests and employees, as well as laboratories (for example, for prototype testing of devices).
 
 
A sports complex will also be built on the territory of the technopark. Details of the project are discussed with the city government, so the deadline for the construction of the sports center is still unknown.
 
 
Technopark will provide companies with server capacities and services DevOps. Startups will be assisted with promotion, recruitment and legal registration. In addition, IT-Grad plans to open a venture fund. Like said Dmitry Gachko, the company will invest in start-ups in the seeding round. Successful projects will help to find investors for the next stages of financing.
 
 
Technopark will support not only start-ups, but also scientific projects. "IT Crimea" will finance scientific initiatives and help researchers with the organization of experiments.
 
 
Residents will receive tax benefits from the city authorities, and in the future the technopark is planned to be made a zone with a special legal regime similar to High-tech Park in Minsk - where companies are exempted from corporate taxes and pay insurance premiums at a reduced rate.
 
 

Residents of "IT Crimea"

 
The first residents of the industrial park were companies from Sevastopol, engaged in software development. One of them is is startup Simple, which creates its own ITSM-system - an analog of solutions such as BMC, ServiceNow and Micro Focus.
 
 
As part of the system development team - graduates of Sevastopol State University and a branch of the Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov. All of them were participants of an incubator working on the basis of the technopark.
 
 
Individuals can become residents, for this purpose there is an opportunity to join already working projects. Now there are not so many vacancies, but in due course there will be more of them. Therefore, all CVs of experts are stored in a single database to later invite these people to work in other projects.
 
 
To become a member of the technopark, the company or a specialist needs to leave the contacts in the form at site project.
